Extended Specialist Techniques - cuff/sculpture?

My "jewellery making" that I chose to do for EST sort of evolved into sculpture... but wearable sculpture! and my final pieces took a long long time to get finished due to illness anda horrible horrible xmas and new year and just the amount of time it takes to create each piece with the proces I use of laminating each sheet of paper one after the other going on and on and on....! but the final outcome I am quite pleased with here it is!
Looking at it now I'm not sure of the colour but maybe thats me doubting myself now people can see it...?? But I quite like the black an white photos of it! By the way, my cat is now huge, so dont assume it is a tiny kitten that is sitting behind it! Anyway I left the underneath white, because that was my base of hand made paper, I would say its about half and half handmade and purchased paper now, I liked it white because If you look inside a snails shell it doesnt have stipes or colour and it makes it look very natural! I also didnt sand down the edges too much so they look rugged and rough as I think it goes with the natural feel of the pattern that comes up as you sand away the layers! heres me usig the old power sander!
**Please note - do not sand on cream livingroom carpet! I learned that the hard way! once I got the power sander on it it went alot quicker! but I still needed to take a fine sand paper to it to smooth it down after to get a very smooth surface. hopefully I will get a few volunteers to wear it for more photographs! :D
