Paper fun!

Here are my experements for making jewellery from paper. Eventually i want to be able to make something on the cusp of sculpture. not conventional jrwellery. this is my favorie technique to use so far but its rather time consuming. each bead has 82 sheets/layers of paper.

the first photo is a sanded bead.and the sencond picture is of two that have not yet been sanded, they have a slightly uneven edge. the last photo is just of the process of al the little circles ready to be cut out. The beauty of this technique is as i neaten up my work i will be able to controll the shape and "movement" in the piece by the shape of each layer and the order they are put in! exciting stuff!
